WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT Eddie Heinzelman:

"Heinzelman is a phenomenal songwriter, a superb, range-friendly vocalist and searing-yet-sensitive guitarist, deserving serious praise for his ability to paint a complete picture. He may be a respected guitar-slinger-for-hire but he’s clearly got the talent to take this anywhere he’d like to go." - Eric Thom, BLURT Magazine

RADNEY FOSTER - "Eddie Heinzelman writes, sings, and plays with an abundance of heart and talent. On his latest record, soulful electric guitars, country harmonies, and roots rock groove weave together like wild muscadine grape vines on a southern Indiana fence line."

LEE ROY PARNELL -  "Folks... Eddie Heinzelman is a fine musician, “Road Mangler” and truly a steady soul. It ain’t easy to jump in on my show. Nothing is ever the same way twice. Ever!!! Thank you Eddie! You done good, brother!"

JOHNNY HILAND - "Killer stuff! I'm a big fan"

"Terrific album and guest...Eddie is the real deal!"- CHARLIE MATTOS, WSM Radio

"Eddie Heinzelman plays lead guitar for a friend of mine, Radney Foster, and many other fantastic musicians. Just a couple weeks ago, I was hosting Radney Foster in Dallas, Texas, and Eddie gave me his new cd... It is nothing short of amazing! Get one now!" - BRETT DILLON, KHYI Radio, Dallas, TX

"Roots albums are often inconsistent, alternating between gems and throwaways, this disc avoids that pitfall" - Rich Kienzle, Vintage Guitar Magazine

"Heinzelman shines on his guitar riffs and extended breaks as well as producing a pair of outstanding instrumental tracks, Steal Away and Shufflin'. The first of them is reminiscent of teh late 60's Mason Williams hit, Classical Gas, while the second has the blues groove of Booker T & The MG's, both pieces indicative of the range and variety of Heinzelman's work. ...The finest song on the album could have come from the classic canon of songwriter Dan Penn, the very beautiful country ballad, Lonely Outweighs Regret." - Maverick Country Magazine, January 2019

Eddie Heinzelman - WHEREVER YOU GO  - "where a bunch of session and background cats band together and decide to add that extra special sauce that can lead to a break out of their own. An entertaining country/rock-Americana date that connects by coming straight from the heart, he might be here to put on a show but he'll send you off into the night with something more than melodies in the back of your mind. Solid stuff made for good times." - MidwestRecord.com

STELLAR SESSION GUITARIST EDDIE HEINZELMAN EVOLVES IN SOLO CAREER WITH HIGHLY PERSONAL RELEASE, WHEREVER YOU GO

Eddie Heinzelman has made a major footprint on the country music landscape as an in-demand session musician/sideman--a member of the Southeastern Indiana Musicians Hall of Fame, he currently plays guitar on tour for Radney Foster.  However, he's also imprinting in an even more impactful way as a solo artist with the release of his sophomore album, Wherever You Go.

The new album follows Heinzelman's 2017 debut, Hey Songwriter, and offers up an infectious mix of Americana, country, roots rock, and classic jams. The songs on Wherever You Go are brimming with a specific, inimitable personality. A full nine of the 10 songs are solely composed by Heinzelman; the title track is co-written with Radney Foster. Tunes such as "Dammit, Mary"--an ode to one of Heinzelman's favorite songwriters, Mary Gauthier ("her songs are so good they make me cuss")--and "The Road," a touring artist's love letter to his wife, show the range of depth his songwriting can travel. Heinzelman, of course, adds a generous helping of his own instrumental prowess and signature blazing guitar to the record, and he recently has developed two custom signature guitar effects pedals, designed in conjunction with Robert Keeley and Keeley Electronics, called the Verb O Trem and Verb O Trem Workstation.

"Music is how I communicate with the world,” Heinzelman says. “I’ll leave behind two things when I die: my family and my songs. I want my songs to say something, to give people an insight into who I am, and to hopefully touch people in some way."

His extensive resume includes performing with a literal "Who's Who" of Country, Bluegrass, and Americana artists, including: Radney Foster, Darius Rucker, Kelly Willis, Ricky Skaggs, Jack Ingram, Mary Gauthier, Darden Smith, Julie Roberts, Vince Gill, Deana Carter, Darryl Worley, Gene Watson, Jeannie Seely, Collin Raye, T. Graham Brown, Jimmy Fortune, Moe Pitney, John Berry, Ty Herndon,  and many more!
